Jabal al-Ahmar, also called Jabal al-Hajar, is a distinctive sand mountain in the city of Hajar (Mada'in Saleh), Saudi Arabia. It is famous for its red rock color and includes 18 carved tombs that reveal ancient Nabataean burial secrets. Some of these tombs have recently been discovered, providing an insight into the lives of the Hajar people of the past.
