The data is available in annual, monthly, daily, and hourly formats.

This scope includes:

·       Weather Phenomena Reports: Detailed historical data and insights on specific weather events and elements for defined time periods.

The Weather Forecasting service provides precise reports on current and short-term weather conditions. These forecasts are designed to assist organizations in planning and making informed decisions based on accurate weather data.

·       Weather Forecast Reports: Detailed short-term weather predictions for specific locations, covering up to ten days. These reports are generated using multiple sources and advanced Saudi numerical models.

The Direct API Integration service enables clients to access real-time weather information, forecasts, and meteorological data seamlessly.

This service provides:

·       Weather Information Service: Current weather details and forecasts for the next five days.

·       Kingdom Weather Report Service: Daily reports offering a general overview of weather conditions across the Kingdom for the next two days.

·       Early Warning Service: Meteorological alerts and notifications issued through the Early Warning System.

Operation and Maintenance of the Meteorological Systems

The center offers a range of services to clients, focusing on the supervision, operation, and maintenance of meteorological stations.

These services include:

·       Consultation for Establishing Manned Airport Stations: Providing technical consultations for the establishment of manned meteorological stations and systems at airports, in compliance with international regulations and standards.

·       Operation of Manned Stations: Supplying qualified technical personnel to manage meteorological operations at manned stations, including issuing aviation weather reports and bulletins 24/7.

·       Maintenance Services: Delivering maintenance and calibration services for meteorological systems at airports, along with 24/7 technical support.

·       Installation of Automated Weather Stations: Providing mobile automated weather stations for specific durations to measure and report key meteorological elements.

·       API Integration for Automated Stations: Enabling real-time integration of automated weather stations with client systems to utilize live weather data in daily operations.

Aviation Navigation

The Aviation Navigation services encompass a variety of meteorological and navigation reports, designed to support airport control towers and pilots in making accurate and informed decisions for safe air navigation.

The aviation navigation scope offers five services for beneficiaries, which are:

·       Airport-Specific Warnings: Issuing alerts about weather conditions that may impact the safety of airport operations.

·       Meteorological Aerodrome Report (METAR): Providing hourly weather updates to assist pilots with takeoff, landing, and in-flight navigation.

·       Special Aerodrome Weather Report (SPECI): Issuing special weather bulletins during significant weather disruptions to aid pilots in maintaining safe operations.

·       Terminal Aerodrome Forecast (TAF): Delivering airport-specific weather forecasts to enable airlines to plan their flight schedules effectively.

·       Upper Air Weather Reports: Offering detailed reports on atmospheric conditions in upper air layers to support flight planning and safety.

·       Comprehensive weather analyses and alerts tailored for the client.

·       Access to high-precision weather forecasts.

·       Access to meteorological data, radar imagery, satellite visuals, weather forecasts, and aviation and maritime bulletins.

Licensing and Permit Services

Licensing and Permit Services

This service caters to local and international entities, as well as individuals seeking to engage in meteorological activities and professions.

The scope includes:

·       Individual Licensing/Permits: A certification issued by the center for individuals aspiring to practice one of the following professions: Weather Observer, Forecaster, or Maintenance Technician. This is granted upon meeting the requirements set by the National Center for Meteorology.

·       Entity Licensing/Permits:

·       Existing Weather Station License:Existing Weather Station License: A document issued by the center allowing beneficiaries to operate an existing weather station, provided all requirements and standards of the National Center for Meteorology are met.

·       Meteorological Data Usage and Distribution License:A permit enabling beneficiaries to publish, utilize, and commercialize meteorological data and information in compliance with the center's guidelines and service criteria.

The "Anwaa" app offers experimental weather radar services, enabling users to access and explore:

·       Weather updates and rainfall forecasts.

·       Five-day weather outlooks with detailed insights.

·       Comprehensive radar maps, early warnings, and forecasts for precipitation, UV levels, wind speed, humidity, and temperature trends.
