Kingdom Weather

The weather conditions in the kingdom are influenced by its desert climate nature, and the changes that occur in its elements determine the differences in daily weather and internal variations between regions. Within the context of the kingdom's location, its vast expanse extending east and west, diverse topography, and isolation from large bodies of water, we notice the role of these factors in shaping its weather and semi-arid to arid climate characterized by hot days and cold nights, with a significant decrease in annual rainfall, except for the Asir region in the southwestern parts.

The kingdom comprises thirteen administrative regions, distinguished by diverse terrains and varying weather conditions. As a result of this diversity, there is a need to analyze and describe the climate of each region independently, in a manner that suits its characteristics and serves its nature. Consequently, it becomes possible to provide useful information for various sectors, including public health, disaster preparedness, water and energy management, and agriculture.
